Dan Armstrong RGFZ Acoustic/Electric Resonator Guitar in Nickel Plated Steel (Depth 55mm)

Built in South Korea, this Dan Armstrong Resonator guitar is part of the ‘Zodiac in Sky’ series. Featuring a nickel plated steel body with a depth of 55mm, round neck and single aluminium resonator cone with biscuit bridge, this guitar is the perfect instrument for blues and roots music. The addition of a Kent Armstrong lipstick pickup adds extra versatility for stage and studio duties.

Dan Armstrong was a highly respected guitar repairer with a busy workshop in Greenwich Village NYC in the late 1960s. His shop was well-known to many of the city’s musicians and a lot of touring players and he also worked as a session guitarist and bassist. Dan Armstrong was also a great innovator.

Today, Dan’s son, Kent Armstrong continues his legacy. Kent Armstrong is one of the world’s foremost electric instrument pickup designers. Kent has now turned his hand to guitar design and manufacturing which he has named in honour of his late father, Dan Armstrong.
