Step into a historic legacy and define your own sound with the Behringer UB-Xa D desktop analog polyphonic synthesizer, identified by SKU 450783. Following one of the most highly anticipated product launches in history, this unit retains every distinctive characteristic and feature of the original while condensing it into a space-saving rack-mount design. This compact form factor ensures seamless integration into your current workstation and keeps the device accessible, regardless of your stage space. To ensure it fits perfectly into your musical collection, the synth is packed with contemporary enhancements, including comprehensive MIDI implementation and 512 memory slots for your personal programs.

Behringer has meticulously analyzed the internal mechanics of the classic OB-Xa to capture its signature sizzle and growl, successfully ushering those 1980s-defining sounds into the modern era by including the original factory patches. By utilizing 16 voices and VCOs alongside VCFs that lean heavily on the authentic 3340 and 3320 chip designs, this instrument allows you to split the keyboard to layer two distinct sounds, providing the power needed to produce massive riffs.

This synthesizer is truly unique, building upon a foundation laid by industry legends. Its pedigree is responsible for the most recognizable hits of the 80s from world-famous performers, including Prince, the Police, Van Halen, and Geddy Lee of Rush, as well as the famous Terminator theme music created by Brad Fiedel. The device belongs to a lineage of greatness, and it now offers you the chance to leave your own footprint on musical history.

To push your sonic boundaries, the unit features an eight-channel modulation matrix that offers exceptional flexibility. You are granted direct command over the ADSR generators, LFOs, VCAs, and VCOs through 26 rotary knobs and a vast array of additional functions, allowing for a nearly infinite range of sound sculpting. Furthermore, because of the robust MIDI implementation, you can connect your preferred controller to broaden the capabilities of the UB-Xa D exactly how you see fit.
