With over ten years of deliberate design expertise behind it, the California Deluxe Series was crafted to follow wherever your musical journey takes you. The California Deluxe Monterey E sets a higher benchmark for performance, offering sophisticated construction and audio quality that adapts to every situation. Whether you are composing in the comfort of your home or playing for a live audience, the California Deluxe Monterey E Mahogany is designed to support you every step of the way. Its traditional folk-style body provides a natural, ergonomic feel that invites you to play for hours, resulting in a clear, articulate sound and an intimate personality that bridges the gap between musician and instrument. By pairing a solid Mahogany top with laminate Mahogany back and sides—all bolstered by scalloped X-bracing—this guitar achieves an earthy resonance defined by full mid-range frequencies, smooth highs, and a satisfying punch. You can rely on the sealed gear split-shaft tuning keys to maintain your pitch through even the most demanding performances, while the Micarta nut and saddle ensure superior tonal transfer between strings. To complement this, the included phosphor bronze strings deliver a rich, comprehensive sound right from the moment you play the first note. When it is time to amplify, the integrated Fishman CD-1 preamp system and built-in tuner allow you to plug in with complete confidence. Versatile, refined, and ready for any challenge, this is the California Deluxe Series.
