Drawing from more than ten years of intentional design, the California Deluxe Series has been engineered to follow your musical journey wherever it takes you. The California Deluxe Monterey E sets a higher benchmark, offering sophisticated construction and an acoustic presence that adapts to any situation. Whether you are composing in the comfort of your home or playing for an audience on stage, this instrument is crafted to keep pace. The traditional folk-style body provides a natural, ergonomic feel designed for extended playing sessions, while its character produces a focused, articulate sound that fosters a deep connection between musician and guitar. With a solid Sitka Spruce top paired with laminate Mahogany back and sides, and supported by scalloped X-bracing, the output remains balanced, full, and vibrant. Tuning stability is maintained through the longest performances by sealed gear split-shaft tuning machines, and the Micarta nut and saddle ensure peak tonal transfer across every string. Furthermore, the phosphor bronze strings provide a rich, complete sound from the moment you begin to play. When it is time to amplify, the integrated Fishman CD-1 preamp system—complete with a built-in tuner—ensures you are ready for the stage. Versatile, refined, and prepared for anything, the California Deluxe Series is built for you.
