Following the triumphant 2023 debut of The Revelator Nautilus Ukulele, Kala Brand Music Co. continues to push the boundaries of imaginative instrument aesthetics and design. With the introduction of The Revelator Night Owl Tenor Ukulele, Kala honors the legacy of British luthier Pete Howlett by offering a specialized take on his signature concept. Recognized as an “Acoustic Anomaly,” this slim-profile electro-acoustic ukulele defies expectations by delivering the robust volume and tonal richness typically associated with full-bodied instruments, resulting in a piece that is as visually captivating as it is fulfilling to play.

Engineered to optimize the resonance and vibration of the ukulele’s top, this instrument utilizes a slender construction and minimal bracing to ensure that string energy works in harmony with the top, yielding clear, articulate sound characterized by remarkable sustain and unexpected volume. The Night Owl sound hole is strategically placed near the player’s ear to provide immediate tonal feedback, while the solid acacia top produces a full, resonant voice with a diverse, rich palette of color. Precision machining defines the neck, which merges seamlessly into the body to provide effortless reach across all 22 frets, complemented by beveled comfort edges that provide a smooth feel for your picking or strumming arm. Every Revelator® Night Owl is accompanied by a deluxe padded logo gig bag.
