Engineered specifically for the most discerning guitar players, this high-end instrument serves as a premier offering within the top-tier Solar Type A1 series, delivering a sophisticated blend of exceptional performance and aesthetic elegance.

The Type A1.6DBOP is a six-string instrument defined by its refined metal appearance and a unique, ergonomic arm rest bevel, establishing itself as a precise, professional-grade tool built to excel in both recording studios and live performance environments. To ensure absolute reliability regardless of the situation, the guitar is equipped with the Evertune constant-tension bridge, a fully mechanical system designed to maintain perfect tuning at all times. Tonal versatility is managed by Duncan Solar pickups, which cover a complete range of sounds—from organic cleans to intense overdrive—while maintaining maximum clarity and fluid sustain. Constructed with a 25.5” scale length and a set-thru neck-to-body joint, the guitar features a swamp ash body complemented by an aluminium pick guard. The player experience is enhanced by a fast, thin, and comfortable maple neck paired with an ebony fingerboard that houses 24 stainless steel super-jumbo frets. For enhanced visibility during live sets, the instrument includes luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots. Rounding out the build are Solar 18:1 locking tuners, a Graphtech nut, five-way blade pickup switching, and a design that allows for full access to the neck. This model is presented in a matte black open pore finish.
