Designed specifically for the most discerning guitar players, this high-end instrument serves as a premier offering within the top-tier Solar Type A1 series, delivering a combination of exceptional performance and sophisticated elegance.
The Type A1.7FRCAR Sustainiac+ is a seven-string guitar that balances a sleek, stealthy aesthetic with a unique cutaway scoop and an impressive array of specifications, ensuring it functions as the definitive professional tool for any studio session or live performance. To provide enhanced resonance and sustain, the guitar utilizes a dependable, hardened steel Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo system equipped with an oversized block and mechanically muted tremolo springs. Its sonic versatility is driven by a bridge-position Duncan Solar humbucker paired with a neck-position Sustainiac Stealth Pro pickup, which operates as both a single-coil unit and a built-in sustain device. Built with a 25.5” scale length and a set-thru neck-to-body construction, the guitar features an alder body and a maple neck shaped for a thin, fast, and comfortable feel. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with 24 stainless steel super-jumbo frets, complemented by Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots to assist with navigation on stage. Additional appointments include Solar 18:1 locking tuners, a locking nut, a 3-way blade pickup switch, and full access to the neck, while the Sustainiac system is managed by one on/off switch and one octave switch, all presented in a carbon black matte finish.
