Born from the experiences of working musicians who frequently navigate the globe, Solar Guitars deeply understands the unique challenges of traveling with an instrument. To solve this, they developed the Type H “Guillotine,” a headless travel guitar engineered for those who require a studio and stage-ready instrument that can be effortlessly transported anywhere. The immediate standout feature is its comfort; this guitar is a pleasure to play in any position or angle, whether you are sitting or standing. At its core, the instrument features a lightweight basswood body paired with a 24-fret maple neck utilizing a 24.75-25.5 multiscale length and a purpleheart fretboard. Its sound is driven by Solar Modern High Output Alnico V pickups, governed by a volume knob, a tone control, and a 3-way selector switch. Every H2.6C arrives in a premium-quality gig bag equipped with a large accessory pocket, making it fully prepared to head to the gate and board your next flight.
