Command the stage with the Type VAR Asymmetrical V, an instrument engineered to pair an aggressive aesthetic with premium performance. By blending the extreme, razor-sharp angles of the beloved Type X with a unique Reverse-Reverse 6-in-line headstock, we have crafted the most striking V-style guitar to date. This six-string Type VAR1.6FR SVART+ is designed to make you stand out, offering a stealthy appearance and a professional feature set that excels in both recording studios and live venues.

The hardware is built for precision and tone, anchored by a hardened steel Floyd Rose 1000 bridge featuring an oversized block to enhance resonance and sustain, with all tremolo springs mechanically muted for a clean sound. Driving its sonic power are newly designed Duncan Solar+ high-gain pickups that utilize Alnico VIII magnets to deliver maximum aggression, impact, and grind. Constructed with a set-thru neck-to-body joint and a 25.5” scale length, the guitar features an alder body paired with a fast, slim, and comfortable maple neck. The ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets and includes Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots for visibility during dark performances. Finished in carbon black matte with matching black hardware, this instrument also comes standard with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, 3-way toggle pickup switching, full-access neck reach, and a dedicated Solar Type VAR deluxe hardcase.
