The MODX8+ improves on the popular MODX8 synthesizer with significant flexibility and performance for discerning musicians and producers. It features larger memory, greater polyphony and improved controls, keeping the same high-quality build and compactness as the original.

The lightweight 88-key MODX8+ uses the same technology powering the flagship MONTAGE synthesizer: an AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) sample and synthesis engine coupled with a pure FM-X (Frequency Modulation) synthesizer modernised for amazing sound playback and complex sound design.

The MODX8+ offers an 88-note, Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted keyboard action, perfect for the piano player needing a piano-focused instrument with a huge variety of sound. Motion Control puts rhythmic and dynamic control at the player's fingertips for a unique, personalised sound, while Seamless Sound Switching (SSS) is perfect for live performances, ensuring there is no cut-off in envelope or effects when changing sounds.

The MODX8+ also offers advanced studio connectivity, with a 4-in/10-out, multi-channel USB audio interface and a downloadable license of Steinberg's Cubase AI digital audio workstation software.
